Yesterday was Dr. Seuss’ birthday. He would have been 110! We all know what a brilliant writer he was, I think we all have at least one or two of his classics. I’ve always loved Horton hears a Who – the idea that there is a planet on a spec of dust, amazing! It kept me from walking on the grass as a child in fear that I would crush multitudes of tiny unknown planets! As good of a writer as he was, I think people tend to forget what an amazing artist he was. His imaginative artwork is beautiful – I love the colors and playfulness. Plus it makes me smile whenever I look at it! Here are a few of his pieces and I encourage you to check out more of his art and a bit more info about him, click here.
