I’m heading off to Huntington Beach for a fun beach vacation but before I head out I wanted to show you a sneak peek of some fun calendars we recently designed. They should be live in August at Checks in the Mail. I’ll post a link when they are. I also wanted to give a big shout out to our Women’s National Team that just won the Women’s World Cup in Canada. If you didn’t watch the game check out these goal highlights, they’re pretty amazing! Also let’s try to chill on all of the anti-women comments. Have you made all of your New Year’s Resolutions yet? Like losing weight, eating healthier, exercising more, spending more time with your kids, balancing work and play, blah, blah, blah! I never make resolutions except one year I promised myself not to buy clothes in the wrong size. I had a tendency to buy clothes especially that were cute and on sale even if it wasn’t my size. So even though it was cute and cheap I looked crappy in it because it was usually too big. Every year I get a new calendar and try to organize my life. I usually get something very practical with lots of space to write stuff down and then every month I also transfer it to the large whiteboard calendar we have in the kitchen. It’s good to have the big picture and the month at a glance. But I love looking at creative calendars. It’s amazing that the same piece of information can be displayed so many ways.
